Blockchain work is unforgiving in a specific way: state must be exactly right, actions must be idempotent, every decision must be reconstructable after the fact, and someone is always actively trying to break your system for money.

An AI agent with tool access has the same shape. It holds state, it takes actions with real consequences, it can be manipulated through its inputs, and when it goes wrong you need to be able to explain why. Most teams arriving at AI from web development are learning this the expensive way. We arrived already knowing it.

The people who scope your engagement are the people who build it. We do not run a sales team that hands specifications to a delivery team that has never spoken to you — that gap is where most agency projects quietly die.

We are based in Mumbai, which means genuine working-hours overlap with Europe, the Gulf and APAC, and a partial overlap with US East. Our engineer-hour cost is lower than a US or UK equivalent; we would rather you spend that difference on instrumentation and evaluation than on a smaller invoice.

Anyone guaranteeing a number one ranking is either lying or planning to rank you for a phrase nobody searches. Anyone quoting you a retrieval accuracy figure before looking at your documents is guessing. And a real share of what gets pitched as an AI project is better solved by a rule, a form, or an off-the-shelf tool at a fraction of the cost.

Saying so has cost us work. It has also produced most of our long-term client relationships, which is the trade we would make again.
